What better to do on a snowy weekend than painting the kitchen red. Here are the before and afters. Doesn’t it feel warm and cozy now? The color is Persimmon from Behr. It took us all day. We are always looking for ways to improve and help the cabin to be a special experience for all who visit Aspen Acres in Estes Park.
Decorating for Christmas
It was so much fun decorating for Christmas. We had a family who booked the week of Christmas and we wanted to make this a special stay for them. There is something special in each room from pillows on the beds to lights in the upstairs bedroom, special towels and oven mits as well as candy canes and hot cocoa for a special treat. A beautiful winter print taken in Rocky Mountain Nation Park by local photographer Alex Burke looks so beautiful over the fireplace.
